The carpets are essential pieces of furniture that give us the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of the house. Unfortunately, it gets dirty and dusted quite quickly. Therefore, it must be cleaned properly so that their fibers are not affected.
So in this article I would like to advise you how to properly clean your carpet so as to remain clean longer.
From time to time, it is good to turn over the carpet or change its place so they do not be over consumed more than one side. To remove dust, the carpet should be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner on the entire surface
When it comes to washing: both sides of the carpet must be wiped with a sponge soaked in a solution of warm water and ammonia or warm water and vinegar (no more than 2 tablespoons per liter of water).
The carpet must be wiped out in the direction of the fiber, so you need to just simply dab the surface with a dry cloth to absorb excess water. To be placed on the floor, the carpet must be completely dry. Thus, you will avoid the formation of mold.
To clean the rug in depth, as an alternative to the above procedure, you can spread baking soda or cornstarch on the carpet, let it work for a few hours and then vacuum it until it is perfectly clean.
In case of fresh stains such as urine of domestic animals or juices, dry immediately with water and vinegar or water and mild detergent and stains of mud is better to wait for it to dry before you clean with a brush.
Be careful not to use harsh abrasive cleaners and brushes with bristles too strong because these could damage it.
Also, you should remember this! Persian rugs should not be beaten, nor exposed to sunlight to prevent damage or discoloration of the fibers.
